The Corn Mill Tea Room, Bainbridge - (No website) Overlooking the village green in Bainbridge. Open every day (March - October) for morning coffee, lunches, afternoon teas, light snacks, other refreshments and ices. 

The Rose and Crown, Bainbridge - offers meals in either the relaxed comfort of the bars, where you can enjoy the local atmosphere or a more formal meal in the Dales Room restaurant, overlooking the village green.

Yorebridge House Restaurant, Bainbridge - Excellent meals in the bar and fine dining for those special ocassions in the restaurant.

Askrigg Village Kitchen - If you want to eat in but don't fancy cooking why not take an easy stroll or a short drive to Askrigg Village Kitchen and get one of their tasty bisto take-away meals and pudds. Whilst there you can buy fresh bread, cakes and snacks from the deli or treat yourself to a coffee and homemade scone in the tearoom before heading home with an easy supper.

The Kings Arms, Askrigg - (No website) This welcoming georgian coaching inn was built in 1762 and converted into a hostelry some one hundred years later. It oozes character, with a large mounting block outside the door, original fireplaces and stone-slab floors leading into the beamed and panelled Herriot's Bar (it starred as The Drovers in the TV series 'All Creatures Great & Small'). Food is served in the bar and in the more formal restaurant.

The Crown, Askrigg - (No website) A traditional pub, favoured by locals and walkers. Friendly staff, good beer and good food at reasonable prices.

The Wensleydale Heifer, West Witton - Seafish Pub of the Year 2007. Excellent food, good service and lovely surroundings, well worth a visit.

The George and Dragon, Aysgarth - 17th Century Coaching Inn with bar and restaurant. Gluten Free alternatives available.

The Crown, Hawes - (No website) A lovely market place pub serving snacks and bar meals at reasonable prices.

Simonstone Hall, Simonstone, Hawes - A country house hotel with tavern and orangery serving light snacks to full Sunday lunch plus a restaurant for a more romantic evening or special occassion.

The Wheatsheaf, Carperby - great food served in the bar. Bookings can also be made for a more romantic candlelit meal in their restaurant.

The Falls Cafe, Aysgarth - cafe/bar close to the spectacular Aysgarth Falls.
