The Sitting Room
A spacious, relaxing room with exposed wooden beams, views across the village green, a window seat and wood burning stove. The room is well furnished, with two two-seater sofas and two chairs, which means there is space for everyone to enjoy a cosy winter's evening around the fire. There is a colour television, DVD player, CD/radio and a selection of books, guides and maps for use by visitors.
Fully equipped, with a gas range cooker complete with double oven, grill, 4 burners, electric griddle and plate warmer. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and microwave. crockery, cutlery, kitchen tea towel and a hand towel are all provided.
The Dining Room
Formerly the old cart shed, the dining room has a beamed ceiling, stone flagged floor, a log effect electric stove and CD/radio. The dining table, which seats six people comfortably, easily transforms to become a slate-bed snooker/pool table - a great room for teenagers (or adults!!) to occupy themselves! There are also a selection of board games.
A highchair and wipeable floormat are available for younger children.

This bedroom has wonderful views across the village green - a lovely place to wake up! The room contains a king-size bed, wardrobe, bedside cupboards and a chest of drawers and has a fireplace and window seat.
A peaceful bedroom to the rear of the cottage with views to the hills behind. The room contains a super king-size bed, built-in wardrobes, dressing table, bedside cupboards and an easy chair.
Please note: The super king-size bed can be split into two 3 ft singles if requested at time of booking.
A pretty twin bedded room with 3 foot single beds, a pine wardrobe, drawers, bedside drawers and a chair.
The bedrooms have duvets and all bedding is provided. A shaver plug and hairdryer is available in each bedroom.
Travel Cot for our Younger Guests:
A cot is available on request and can be placed in the front king-size bedroom or the rear super king-size bedroom. Please provide your own cot bedding.
The good sized bathroom has a white three-piece suite, with shower over the bath.
A BATH SHEET AND HANDTOWEL ARE PROVIDED FOR EACH GUEST.
To the side of the garage a gateway leads to a secluded, terraced garden with patio furniture to seat up to eight, a barbeque and views across the River Bain. A lovely retreat on a summers evening to sit and relax, read or sip a glass of wine with the sound of the river running past.
Heating/fuel and linen
The cottage is heated by an oil fired combi-boiler, which also provides the hot water. The sitting room has a multi-fuel stove. The range cooker in the kitchen is gas with an electric griddle and plate warmer.
Electricity, gas, heating, hot water and fuel for the stove are all included in the rental price.
All bedding apart from bedding for the travel cot is provided and each guest is provided with a bath sheet and a hand towel. In the kitchen a hand towel and tea towel, washing up liquid and liquid hand soap are also provided along with a kitchen starter pack, containing a J-Cloth, sponge and a few dishwasher tablets.
There is parking to the front of the property for 2 cars and further parking is available alongside the village green.
