A delightful Yorkshire Dales self catering holiday cottage to sleep 6

From the A1:Leave the A1 at Leeming Bar and take the A684 through Bedale and on to Leyburn. At Leyburn, continue on A684 (left at roundabout by the Bolton Arms) signposted to Hawes, passing through the villages of Wensley, West Witton, Swinithwaite, Aysgarth and Worton before arriving at Bainbridge. Descend into the village, past the garage. After passing over the bridge the road bends to the right - begin to indicate right immediately and take the unmade slip road, which runs along the side of the village green, just after the village shop.

From the M6:Leave the M6 at junction 37 (Kendal) and take A684 eastwards through Sedbergh, Garsdale, Hawes and on to Bainbridge. On entering Bainbridge take the right-hand lane on the one way stretch as you approach the Rose and Crown. Turn right at the junction (you are now looking towards the village green) and you will arrive quickly at the crossroads on the green. Turn left at the crossroads and before reaching the village shop on your left, take a sharp left turn onto the unmade slip road, which runs along the side of the village green .

On leaving the main road The Old Post Office is located after the property Baincott, with parking for two cars to the front. The drive is shared with our neighbours, so please leave clear after unloading. Further parking is available alongside the green.
